He received his PhD in Sociology in 2013 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb. From 2008 to 2015, he was affiliated with the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences, working on the project "Public Opinion Research and Mass Communication." Between 2015 and 2019, he held a position at the Department of Sociology at the Catholic University of Croatia. From 2019 to 2024, he was a member of the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. Since 2024, he has been employed at the Institute for Migration Research.

In 2015, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Sociology, with a specialization in sociological methodology. He was promoted to Associate Professor of Sociology in 2020, focusing on sociological methodology. In 2024, he attained the position of Associate Professor in Communication Sciences at Alma Mater Europaea University in Maribor.

He has been responsible for a range of courses in research methodology and statistics at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels at the University of Zagreb, the Catholic University of Croatia, and Alma Mater Europaea University in Slovenia. He is the author or co-author of 70 scientific and professional publications. His involvement in numerous national and international research projects includes notable participation in three projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation: the Croatian Longitudinal Study of Well-being (CRO-WELL), "Networks of Public Communication in Croatia: Mediatisation of the Public Sphere and the Challenges of New Media" (NETCOMM), and "Empowering Financial Capability of Young Consumers through Educational Programs and Behavioral Interventions" (EfFICAcY).

From 2020 to 2022, he served as the editor-in-chief of the journal Kroatologija, published by the Faculty of Croatian Studies. Since 2017, he has also been a member of the Croatian team, serving as fieldwork leader and sampling director for the European Values Study project.
